"Tourist Remover"

Snapmania is an online photo manager site.

One of their features is allows you to "remove" tourists from photos.

Microsoft demoed such a feature a few years ago that they said they were putting into their photo editing program. The MS example was one of a person on a beach auto-removed. (Now at 10 version that program is - Yoda.)

 

It seems like what it does is auto-mask out and merge multiple photos into one final "de-touristed" image based on deltas in the image.
